Today is Icie’s 3rd birthday!
I decided to cut together this footage I had sitting around from her birthday last year.
I just got around to editing this video from Halloween… but anyway here it is. I boosted the saturation to make it look fun and “schoolish”.

On the 20th in the crowds and the cold, I went to the swearing in ceremony to document this historic event.
As you can see above there were no tripods allowed, but I did my best to hold the camera steady above my head.
Even though the time, walking, waiting, temperature, crowds, more waiting, and more walking was uncomfortable verging on painful, it was remarkable to see that many people in one spot to welcome our new president. After the event I checked around online to see if I could find myself in any photos or video. I didn’t recognize myself or any of the people around me, however I did notice an overwhelming cyan tone. So I decided to warm up my footage to reflect the day.

I just finished this video promo for LAI that’s going to play at The Committee of 100 meeting this weekend. Caleb and I setup the interviews throughout our new office, and then after I edited the piece and added some looks I took the edit into After Effects.
I love the way the lower 3rds turned out on this one.
