The 2009 Inauguration

On the 20th in the crowds and the cold, I went to the swearing in ceremony to document this historic event.

As you can see above there were no tripods allowed, but I did my best to hold the camera steady above my head.
Even though the time, walking, waiting, temperature, crowds, more waiting, and more walking was uncomfortable verging on painful, it was remarkable to see that many people in one spot to welcome our new president. After the event I checked around online to see if I could find myself in any photos or video. I didn’t recognize myself or any of the people around me, however I did notice an overwhelming cyan tone. So I decided to warm up my footage to reflect the day.
Here is a document of what I saw that day.

2008 Election Retrospective

I made this video in short order for an event two days after the election at the US Chamber of Commerce. It was a Post-Election Analysis with Stu Rothenberg and Charlie Cook that was covered in its entirety by C-SPAN.  If I had more time I would have shaved at least a solid minute of the piece… it runs a bit long.
