Joram Roukes – iphone case

I got my Cast•Mate iPhone 4 “Barely There” Custom Case in the mail today.
Case•Mate makes it super easy to upload photos or designs and I was pleasantly surprised with the fantastic print quality.

For my case I uploaded a Joram Roukes oil painting ↓

and then about 5 days later I received this ↓

and a side note… I love my iphone 4!
I took the pic above with the camera on my phone. The camera quality and video capabilities alone are worth the upgrade or purchase.

Robby’s Playlist

My friend Rob from work came up with this great idea for a playlist.

Create a “Smart Playlist” in itunes with the following rules.
All songs played more than 5 times and that haven’t been played in the last 300 days.
It will keep a constant list of songs that you just started to forget.

EveryTrail

Every Trail is a GPS travel community where you can upload saved trips from your GPS device and view other users trips to plan your next trek. I discovered this site though my iphone when I was downloading different running and biking trackers. EveryTrail has quickly become one of my favorite websites and iphone apps. I enjoy cycling and the EveryTrail’s iphone app gives you all kinds of great info. You can see your speed vs elevation, average speed, and take pics along the way that are uploaded to a map showing where the photo was taken.

This tutorial shows you how to take Cycorder movies off your iPhone,
put NES ROMs on your iPhone,
and lastly how to add a custom font to the lock clock screen with FontSwap.

I used the program FontLab Studio to create the font.
And you can find more info on FontSwap here on the developer’s blog.

Netflix Supports MACs!

Netflix now allows you to watch movies instantly with a MAC!  Also Netlix now has a TV box allowing subscribers to watch movies instantly on their TVs with a one time $100 purchase.

But if you have a TV that has a VGA connection or the right cables… you can do this:

The image of the streaming video was amazing! It blew my mind!

The biggest setback was the selection… It was fun for a weekend but I’m going to wait for a larger selection before I purchase the TV box or hookup the laptop again.
