My little sister is getting married!
I have been helping her design her invitations and on a whim we decided to try out a video invite.
I think is turned out great and conveys a feeling that text and paper can not.
I won 3 Telly’s this year!
Yes, I’m aware that this iphone pic is obnoxious…
But I was excited to receive my first Silver Telly.
I won a Silver Telly in the corporate image category for this video:

This video was created for the American Wind Energy Association. The video was used to open the event WINDPOWER 2009. It played at the opening kick-off party and concert right before Blues Traveler hit the stage. I used Trapcode Particular to create the grass and then added a white solid multiplied to cast the shadows. This might not mean anything to you but it was a complicated process and I liked the result… not the render time.

Just finished this 30th anniversary video for WICT or Women in Cable Telecommunications. We had a tight deadline so I finished the edit in 2 days not including the render time. I spent the first day gathering and prepping the images and the second animating. In the end all parties were pleased with what I was able to crank out in 2 days.

I broke apart and adapted their theme graphic into a 3D space. The designer created a lot of movement in the static image so it was easy to transform the design into an animation.

This promo video for the American Wind Energy Association features the band Blues Traveler who will be performing during the convention. I wasn’t able to go on location and direct this shoot but in the 30min. of footage we did end up with just enough to create the 2min. promo. After cutting out all the inappropriate jokes and cutting in the live performance I was happy with the final result.
