On the 20th in the crowds and the cold, I went to the swearing in ceremony to document this historic event.
As you can see above there were no tripods allowed, but I did my best to hold the camera steady above my head.
Even though the time, walking, waiting, temperature, crowds, more waiting, and more walking was uncomfortable verging on painful, it was remarkable to see that many people in one spot to welcome our new president. After the event I checked around online to see if I could find myself in any photos or video. I didn’t recognize myself or any of the people around me, however I did notice an overwhelming cyan tone. So I decided to warm up my footage to reflect the day.
Here is a document of what I saw that day.

Hi James,
I worked with your Dad here at CR. So glad he sent this video. The music was perfect for the video. Actually gave me the chills. Very moving, what a talent you have! Carry on!
Thanks,
It was amazing to relive this through your perspective as well. You did a wonderful job of capturing the feelings that everyone had out there. Well done.
After a couple of failed attempts, I finally got to watch your video. That was really nice. Thanks for sending it. I’ll pass it along to others who will appreciate it.
James, this is perfect! Pretty much our same experience. We even climbed over that wall you included in the end :-)
Thanks for sending it. Well done!
that was pretty awesome…. I think I was about 50 feet from you on the mall that day, it seems.
